The United States Department of Education has issued what it refers to as “Notice of Interpretation” about its Office for Civil Rights’ intentions about enforcement of Title IX as to allegations of discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.
The initiative obviously is part of the new administration’s program. The implications for current and future litigation are unclear.
