Ryan P. Waid
Ryan counsels clients on a wide variety of business issues, including corporate, employee benefits, and tax matters. Ryan represents companies at all stages of operation, from start-ups selecting an entity, to well-established corporations. Ryan also assists clients with wills, trusts and other estate planning matters.
Ryan earned his LL.M. (Taxation) from Georgetown University Law Center in 2004, his law degree from Case Western Reserve University in 2000, and his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University in 1997. Prior to relocating to Harrisonburg, Ryan was a Senior Consultant and Attorney in Washington, DC with the international accounting firm Ernst & Young LLP.
Ryan is admitted to the Virginia State Bar and the District of Columbia Bar. He is the President of the Association of Young Professionals, a member of the Shenandoah Valley Small Business Development Center Advisory Council, and is a big brother in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Harrisonburg-Rockingham County.
