Mark W. Botkin

Mark, who hails from Augusta County, Virginia, is a 1993 graduate of the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond. In 1985, he received his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia. Mark has a broad business practice, advising clients on corporate, tax, employee benefits, and real estate matters. He serves as general counsel to numerous corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships, and small businesses. Mark also prepares conservation easements, wills, and trusts, and assists clients with estate matters. Firm clients assisted by Mark range from young entrepreneurs just starting their businesses, to large, well-established corporations. Mark currently serves on the Board of Governors of the Taxation Section of the Virginia State Bar.

Mark is a co-founder of the Valley Benefits Forum, and he serves as Chair of the Valley Conservation Council, a non-profit land trust that promotes the preservation and conservation of open space and farmland.
