Ryan P. Waid

Ryan Waid counsels clients on a wide variety of business issues, including corporate, employee benefits and tax matters. He represents companies at all stages of operation, from start-ups selecting an entity to well-established corporations. Mr. Waid also assists clients with wills, trusts and other estate planning matters. Prior to relocating to Harrisonburg, Mr. Waid was a Senior Consultant and Attorney in Washington, DC with the international accounting firm Ernst & Young, LLP. He has worked extensively with executive compensation, qualified plans, welfare benefit plans and plan corrections with the IRS and Department of Labor. Mr. Waid has advised clients on issues ranging from the taxation of compensation and benefits to the regulatory aspects of ERISA.
