Biography

Lindsay Brubaker, Chair of the Virginia Education Law Group℠, represents clients in multiple areas of the law, including education law, employment law, and civil litigation. Lindsay regularly provides counsel on matters related to Title IX, special education, employment matters and grievances, administrative proceedings, and other legal issues that impact the governance as well as the day-to-day management of schools.  She works closely with the firm's lawyers in defending school boards and their senior management teams. Lindsay has also helped vindicate, in important litigation the constitutional prerogatives of school boards, even as to other elected officials. The diversity of her practice enables her to provide wide-ranging legal counsel to educational institutions.

Lindsay has been recognized as an Up & Coming Lawyer by the Virginia Lawyer’s Weekly, one of the “Top 10 Under 40” business professionals by the Shenandoah Valley Business Journal, and named one of Virginia Business magazine’s “Legal Elite.” Originally from the Shenandoah Valley, Lindsay is regularly engaged in the local community and is currently on the Board of Directors for The Community Foundation of Harrisonburg-Rockingham. Lindsay resides on her family’s century farm, with her husband and two daughters.
